Construct and develop the majestic city-state of Tenochtitlan - built amidst the waters of Lake Texcoco. Reclaim valuable land, feed your people, raise monumental structures, and maintain vital trade routes that connect your floating empire to the outside world in the Valley of Mexico.

Yet beyond these petty struggles looms a far greater threat: the Moon Goddess has declared war upon the Sun, casting a dreadful curse upon your followers. Only blood, spilled through human sacrifice, can summon a shield of protection - but its power is fleeting. How many nights will your people survive before the darkness consumes them?

• Balance economic, religious and survival systems, convert refugees into valuable members of your society, put them to hard labor - or sacrifice them! Assign roles to captives, commoners, nobles and priests.

• Dispatch expeditions from the strategic map all across the Valley of Mexico to ensure your city thrives through resource gathering and trade.
