That said, “safe” depends on what you mean:
Payment & support: PL2W has a Help Center with 24/7 human support and a public support email.
Device security: PL2W claims the launcher is safe and references antivirus false-positive history.
Account model: PL2W emphasizes it doesn’t interfere with your personal Steam account and that its auto-login is for PL2W-managed accounts.
What PL2W sells (product types you’ll see on the site)
To avoid confusion, PL2W’s Help Center describes account-based access as the core model.
1) GamePass (Game Account Rental)
Subscribe → access a library of ~3,000 games during your subscription. PL2W notes: fixed account during subscription, progress “will not be lost,” but you don’t permanently own the game.
2) Game Purchase (Permanent access via family-sharing groups)
PL2W describes “buying permanent access” to a legitimate game for a fraction of the official price by giving you access to one account in a family-sharing group. The account is managed by PL2W, and you launch via PL2W as a launcher.
3) Account types: SHARE / FAMILY / PRIVATE (Account-level packaging)
PL2W further breaks account products into SHARE ACC / FAMILY ACC / PRIVATE ACC and shows differences in typical price levels and multiplayer support scenarios.
How PL2W delivery & launching works (with the app/launcher)
PL2W’s Game Launch Guide describes a flow like:
After purchase, the game is automatically added to your PL2W client library
You locate the game inside the client and click Start Game
PL2W automatically launches Steam/Uplay/Epic/EA and completes the account login process with progress prompts
If you hit login failures, PL2W instructs users to contact 24/7 customer service.
Also: PL2W states it cannot provide account passwords for family-sharing accounts; access is via PL2W login/launcher.
Common concerns & boundaries (multiplayer, regions, refunds)
Will accounts be shared / will I get kicked?
PL2W says GamePass accounts can be shared but should not affect play; for purchased online games, it’s generally one account per user from a family-sharing group, and being kicked is described as a rare technical bug handled by support.
Multiplayer support
PL2W claims purchased online versions support multiplayer (this is part of its “Game Purchase” pros list).
Regions / cloud gaming
PL2W says it doesn’t provide passwords and therefore currently does not support cloud devices like GeForce Now or Boosteroid (in its password FAQ).
Refunds
