A NEW CHALLENGE

After an act of desperation and courage, Ayo finds himself separated from his mother and adrift in the ocean. Upon finding solid ground, he encounters a new and challenging land, a place full of mysteries and dangers. Face a variety of enemies, from wild animals to hostile indigenous warriors, as you explore dense forests, open fields, and dark caves.

The South Island is an action RPG with a nostalgic pixel art style, inspired by the exploration of Zelda (SNES) and the progression system of classic Diablo.

FEATURES

• Over 40 hand-drawn maps and special areas, exploring the local fauna and flora;

• Help the main character face unique enemies while progressing, collecting items and resources;

• Fight with native, magical, and firearm weapons: axe, spear, blowgun, bow and arrow, magic staff, and arquebus;

• Face epic bosses, unique entities, and 2D platform-style battles;

• Different mechanics in each map — discover new features as you progress through the game;

• Craft unique items: cook traditional native recipes and create local crafts using gathered resources;

• Special merchant with a full buying and selling system;

• Puzzles, mini-games, side quests, and an engaging story about a brave young boy.

No one knows where he comes from... only that he has everything you need. Buy and sell with the wandering merchant before he vanishes.

Find Ayo's Refuge House, created as a sanctuary for the player to rest, fish, collect new resources, craft exclusive foods, and unique handcrafted items.
